Inter Access and BHVB team up for ISM® deployment 

Hilversum, 10 December 2009 – ICT service provider Inter Access partners with Bureau Hoving & Van Bon (BHVB), the developer of the ISM® (Integrated Service Management) service management framework.

In this partnership Inter Access will serve as an implementation specialist. The company will support BHVB with the deployment of ISM® for its clients.

ISM®  is the swiftly rising standard for IT service management. ISM is an integrated framework including an implementation method. The framework comprises amongst other things an integrated out-of-the-box process model, standard helpdesk tooling, templates for procedures, operational instructions, SLAs and reports. The ISM® process model is derived directly from ITIL, only strongly simplified; which makes it easier to deploy.

ISM’s® high level of standardization makes it possible to implement the framework within two to four months in any organization. The implementation of ISM® comes standard with process coaching. In this phase Inter Access systematically coaches the organization in working with the framework. This allows an organization to use ‘best practices’, as documented in for example ITIL, ASL, BiSL, COBIT and MOF. Process coaching prevents a relapse that many organizations experience after a traditional ITIL introduction.

BHVB welcomes this partnership with Inter Access. The company expects to service more clients through this collaboration. For clients ISM® is a good starting point for the implementation of service management processes. In turn Inter Access offers clients the possibility to quickly control and tangibly improve its IT services.
