Hilversum, 1 October 2009 ― The cities of Maastricht and Sittard-Geleen have signed a four year general agreement with IT services provider Inter Access.
The two cities have selected Inter Access as one of their three preferred suppliers for temporary staffing with respect to organizational advice, IT architecture, information and functional management, system development and realization. The choice was made after a tender that started late 2008.
Maastricht and Sittard-Geleen selected Inter Access for its flexible approach, enthusiasm, positive collaboration and cost-effectiveness. Additionally, the city of Maastricht already has a fruitful collaboration with Inter Access in e-government services, midoffice (WebNext Midoffice Suite) and document management.
Earlier, Inter Access signed similar contracts with the cities of Amsterdam and The Hague. Inter Access supports Amsterdam with strategic advice on IT issues, project and line management, system development and management and maintenance. The city of The Hague is provided with services in systems management, network management, user support, application management, functional management, database management, service and service management by Inter Access.
“This new agreement significantly strengthens our presence in the government market, not only on a national level but also in the south of the Netherlands. For Maastricht and Sittard-Geleen, this tender is a major starting point for more IT collaboration. We are excited about our contribution to this intergovernmental collaboration”, said Han Dieperink, member of the board at Inter Access.
