Milestone despite stricter requirements for Microsoft Gold Partners
Hilversum, 13 April 2010 – ICT service provider Inter Access has been awarded its fifteenth Microsoft Gold Partner status by Microsoft. Inter Access’ Microsoft Licensing Competency specialization was key in reaching this milestone. Inter Access and Microsoft have cooperated strategically for years now.
The Microsoft Gold Partner status is a worldwide award for a company that employs sufficient Microsoft certified professionals and can prove its knowledge of and skills in Microsoft technology in customer projects. At the beginning of 2010, Microsoft defined stricter rules for the Gold Partner status. As of then, a customer satisfaction survey among at least ten active customers is part of the certification process. These new requirements are expected to lead to a reduction of companies with a Gold status. Inter Access received in total 45 positive customer references as a result of the survey.
Inter Access is not only a Microsoft Gold partner for fifteen specialty areas, but also a Business Productivity Online Services partner (BPOS). With these services, Inter Access helps customers migrate their Unified Communications and collaboration software to the cloud. Relevant solutions in this respect are Exchange e-mail, Office Communications Server, Live Meeting, Azure/SQL and SharePoint. Inter Access is also focusing on themes like Adaptive IT, the ‘New Working’ and e-government, for which it also deploys Microsoft solutions.
