Inter Access appointed as Oracle Platinum Partner

Hilversum, 4 February 2010 – Inter Access has been appointed as Oracle Platinum Partner. To date, the company already was Oracle Certified Advanced Partner.

Recently, Oracle launched a new partner model in the Netherlands. In this model, the software company distinguishes three types of partners – Silver, Gold and Platinum. Inter Access qualifies for the highest category. Oracle grants this high partner status only to a small number of companies.

Inter Access gained the Platinum partnership because of its specialization in the field of Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) and databases. Also, the company’s E-Business Suite, knowledge of municipal bodies and expertise in the field of Universal Content Management (UCM) are underlying arguments for Oracle to grant Inter Access the highest partner status. Inter Access’ in-depth knowledge forms an excellent basis for an intensive collaboration with Oracle in mutual commercial, knowledge and provider projects.

Inter Access’ specialization in Oracle databases, Oracle Fusion Middleware (SOA), the Oracle E-Business Suite and Oracle UCM provides Inter Access clients with the best Oracle solutions. An example in this respect is the development of a youth care identification system aimed at identifying, in an early stage, children with behavioral problems in the age from 0 to 23 years and coordinating their treatment or supervision. All bodies are able to inform each other about their interferences in real-time without delay. Currently, more than 120 municipalities are working with this system. Early February 2010, the municipality of Groningen took this system into service. Equally, Wabo Act solutions for the municipality of Rotterdam, show how Inter Access contributes to government bodies. The Wabo Act combines approximately 25 regulations on construction, environmental, nature and monument permits. The system has been entirely developed in Oracle Fusion Middleware.

“Without a doubt we are very pleased with our high-level Oracle partnership,” said Michel de Meijer, CEO of Inter Access. “This offers many perspectives for the future. We will do anything in our power to substantiate our role as Platinum Partner and remain as customer-oriented as possible.”
