The challenge for the municipality of Leiderdorp was the channelling and routing within the organisation of customer queries coming into the Municipal Shop. Inter Access has set up an integrated system for this, connected to the back-office applications. For this is employed, amongst other things, the WEB+ application by which the services are also made available digitally. The solution provides the municipality with 360-degree visibility of customers and processes.

Objective

The objectives around the Municipal Shop in Leiderdorp were clear. The first objective was to make the intake of enquiries more efficient.

The municipality then needed better visibility of existing and outstanding enquiries. The eventual aim was to obtain an integral customer overview, in order to optimise the service provision and to configure it well for processing in the back-office. The municipality looked for an IT partner that provided complete support in the form of project management, testing, process definition, product implementation, technical installation and connections to legacy systems. Following thorough evaluation Inter Access was selected. This was not only because of their knowledge of the municipal market, but also because they think about realisation and because the WEB+ application is successfully in place in other municipalities.

Solution

For this project, Inter Access formed a team comprising a project manager, a functional consultant and a technical consultant. In addition, a WEB+ development team of 5 FTE was employed. These teams realised the functional design and the extension of bespoke applications into the WEB+ framework. For the physical and digital counter of the Municipal Shop, five different forms have been developed. Leiderdorp makes use of the ASP facilities of Inter Access. Connection to DigiD, BNG Internet Checkout runs under CMS from Leiderdorp. Loading scripts are run from BRS (PinkRoccade) for standardised ETL to Operational DataStore (ODS). And in close cooperation with PinkRoccade, a connection to CIPERS is realised on the basis of a web service. Establishing an integral customer overview within the organisation.
