Your enterprise applications are no longer ‘stand alone’. More and more they become integrated with business chain partners’ other business processes and systems. Moreover, the layout of the enterprise system must stay in line with relevant developments in the market. Inter Access can help you with this by setting up a Service Oriented Architecture, for example, which significantly increases the adaptability of your organisation. We have been developing, implementing and supporting standard and tailor-made solutions for decades, combining industry and IT knowledge for, amongst others, trade and production companies, financial service businesses and government organisations.

SOA: mixture of standard and tailor-made solutions
Enterprise applications come in different shapes and sizes. Think of standard products such as ERP and CRM suites. However, you can also have tailor-made applications developed specifically suited to your organisation. Mixtures of standard and tailor-made solutions were the least favourite option until a few years ago, due to the problems in integration and management. The rise of Service Oriented Architectures (SOAs) quickly changes this. In a SOA, business processes are disconnected from applications and divided into functional components. As a result, developing new applications almost turns into component-based construction. This speeds up the development process, limits the costs due to the reuse of previously developed software and also makes support much simpler.

Enterprise Application Suites: standard applications for ERP and CRM
Inter Access has years of experience in developing, implementing and supporting standard ERP and CRM applications. We have strategically chosen a few big names:

  • SAP. Inter Access has been business partner of SAP in the Netherlands since 1990. Since that time we have developed into a leading and innovative SAP partner. This is illustrated, for example, by the allocation of the prestigious SAP Innovation Award in 2002, 2003, 2004 but also by the high scores we receive in the customer satisfaction survey carried out by SAP each year. Today, Inter Access possesses a strong SAP competence centre with clear spearheads and professional SAP support facilities.
  • Oracle. Since 2002, Inter Access has already had one of the largest competence centres in the Benelux in the field of the Oracle E-Business Suite. You can go there for high quality consultancy, whereby we focus on healthcare, engineering and business services. Furthermore, Inter Access is a leading Oracle-partner in the field of support with state-of-the-art facilities for outsourcing on the Oracle E-Business Suite platform.

Our own solutions: leading partners’ technology
Inter Access has made conscious decisions regarding the technology with which we develop tailor-made solutions. We work with leading technology suppliers in order to benefit maximally from their innovative capabilities. This applies, for example, to the technology of IBM, Microsoft, Oracle and SAP. Inter Access has developed powerful partnerships with these parties for the development of knowledge and for sharing experience.

  • Prodin. This standard ERP-application for medium sized logistics and production companies was developed under our own direction and is in use by approximately one hundred companies. The current version is based completely on Service Oriented Architectures and makes full use of portal technology and third-party components. The result is an innovative application, which combines strong functionality with a high degree of flexibility and low costs.
  • Enterprise Content Management Suites. ERP and CRM support an organisation’s structured information services. Enterprise Content Management (ECM) does the same for less structured or unstructured information services. The worlds of document management systems, workflow application and web content management systems are integrated. Inter Access foresees a big increase in the application of ECM and offers the required expertise for this in cooperation with business partners such as IBM, Microsoft, Oracle and SAP. Furthermore, we invest in open source knowledge surrounding Enterprise Content Management.
  • Tailor-made solutions. The project-based development of tailor-made enterprise applications has been a core activity since the foundation of Inter Access. By using high-value standards, methods and techniques, we maintain a high quality standard. Inter Access is ISO-certified for this activity by the way.
